During my recent trip to Ooty, I couldn’t miss visiting Doddabetta Peak , the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills. Located just 9 km from Ooty, this stunning spot offers breathtaking views, cool mountain air, and a peaceful escape from the bustle of the town. Standing at 2,637 meters above sea level, it truly feels like being on top of the world. The Journey to the Peak The drive to Doddabetta Peak itself is a treat. As our car wound through lush forests, tea plantations, and narrow hill roads, I couldn’t resist stopping for pictures of the mist rolling over the valleys.
